We live in a wonderful place. Protecting our quality of life and natural resources is vital to our community. I’ve led historic efforts to cut thousands of potential residential units from the Waccamaw Neck. Growth must be carefully planned and controlled—it cannot exceed our infrastructure capacity.
I’ve worked to preserve our natural resources like wetlands and our heritage trees. Let’s maintain the beauty of the Waccamaw Neck.
I’ve also worked hard to strengthen public safety by supporting with additional sheriff deputies and needed emergency response equipment.
I’m a fiscal conservative who supports the cost effective delivery of county services and low taxes. It’s important to broaden our county tax base with economic development in the western county, so the burden is not on Waccamaw Neck taxpayers.
As a fiscal conservative and Republican who believes in limited government, I'm opposed to the effort to incorporate the Waccamaw Neck and its extra layer of government and millions of dollars in likely costs to taxpayers.
